On a Ferris wheel

ferris wheel ride

Finally we took a ride with the Grand roue, or the Ferris wheel in front of the amphitheatre! It cost only 3,50 euros per person, and we were almost the only ones there. Well, not the only ones, as you can figure out from the picture… Anyway, it was so much fun! It went  round four times, and the views over the city – at dusk – was so pretty. The pink building at the bottom of the picture is the Arènes… That high we were!

Christmas window display

christmas window

The best Christmas window display in Nîmes is by no means  the one of this boulangerie/pâtisserie. Each window is decorated so joyfully and with taste – and all their products look mouthwatering. And that they also are.

You’ll find it at the corner of Place de l’Horloge, look for the green window frames (you won’t miss it). The window in the photo is from the side street, better ones are in front.
